2021 Clean Water Campaign
Alameda High School’s 2021 Campaign brought clean drinking water to Hang Kia A Primary & Secondary School, a school located in Mai Chau, Vietnam. Without access to clean water, Hang Kia A Primary & Secondary School was dependent on unfiltered rainwater or purchasing bottled water for students. Often the school could not afford to purchase enough bottled water for all 482 students. Through support from the 2021 Alameda High School fundraiser Campaign, Gravity Water worked with Hang Kia A Primary & Secondary School and the Mai Chau Community to install a rainwater harvesting system, which is providing the entire school of 500 students with a daily source of safe drinking water. |
