Greenwood Village, Colorado
Greenwood Village, Colorado
In 2021, Gravity Water and students at Cherry Creek High School teamed up to spread awareness of the Global Water Crisis and do something about it. The goal of the campaign is to fund an entire Gravity Water system, bringing an on-site, permanent, and energy-free source of safe drinking water to a school in need.
Help us reach our goal of providing the students and staff of Bal Prativa Basic School in Nepal with an on-site clean water system for daily drinking and hand washing.

Cherry Creek High School's
Clean Water Cornhole Tournament
To help spread awareness about the Global Water Crisis and fundraise to build a clean water system at Bal Prativa Basic School in Panchkhal, Nepal is Cherry Creek High School is hosting a Clean Water Cornhole Tournament campaign. The Clean Water campaign's goal is to raise awareness about the Global Water Crisis and encourage donations toward the fundraiser.
HOW IT WORKS:
Join us for our Clean Water Cornhole Tournament on November 13th, 2021
Cherry Creek High School’s Environmental Club will be holding a cornhole tournament at Max Underground with an entrance fee, food, and fundraising. Max Taps has a cornhole competition room (10 games at a time) that is adjacent to the facility.
Students and kids will play in the tournament while parents watch the games on TVs located in the bar/restaurant area. Additionally, the event will be live-streamed on YouTube for people to watch and donate to Cherry Creek’s Clean Water Campaign if they are unable to attend in-person.
This event is available for the Cherry Creek community, students and their families! There have been very few off-campus activities for students to participate in during the last year, and this will be a fun way for students and their families to get together and have fun while supporting a great organization.
You can register your team for the cornhole tournament using the Google Form liked below. There is a $20 entrance fee per team.

OUR SISTER SCHOOL: Bal Prativa Basic School
Panchkhal, Nepal
Panchkhal, Nepal
Students at Cherry Creek High School decided to choose Bal Prativa Basic School, located in Kavrepalanchowk, Nepal, as their benefiting sister school.
Currently, Bal Prativa Basic School lacks access to a reliable on-site source of water. The school currently uses nearby contaminated river and spring water for drinking and doesn't have a safe drinking water source on-site. Additionally, the community lacks access to centralized water systems throughout the area. During the wet season, the school has an abundant source of spring water, however, the water is more contaminated. During the dry season, the school usually runs out of water, which either means they have to order trucks to deliver river water or simply go without it. Gravity Water and Cherry Creek High School are working together to bring a 3,500 liter Gravity Water system to the school, which will provide them with a free, reliable, and daily source of safe water that is on-site and meets U.S. EPA-rated standards. Every $8 donated provides one child with safe drinking water.
