In 2022, Gravity Water and students at Jesuit High School teamed up to spread awareness of the Global Water Crisis and do something about it. The goal of the campaign is to fund an entire Gravity Water system, bringing an on-site, permanent, and energy-free source of safe drinking water to a school in need.

Jesuit High School's Clean Water System Campaign
To help spread awareness about the Global Water Crisis and fundraise to build a clean water system at Thải Giàng Phố Primary School in Vietnam, Jesuit High School is hosting a fundraising campaign. The campaign is centered on a community-based model, where students work with local businesses and artisans to support their campaign with the goal of bringing clean water to a community in need.

OUR SISTER SCHOOL: Thải Giàng Phố Primary School

Students at Jesuit High School decided to choose Thải Giàng Phố Primary School, located in Bắc Hà, Vietnam, as their benefiting sister school.
Currently, Thải Giàng Phố Primary School lacks access to a reliable on-site source of water. The school currently relies on boiling drinking water for students. However the school cannot produce enough water by boiling for every student. There is a lot of rainfall from May to October, and the community has to go fetch water for use when the 1” black pipes that run along the mountainside get clogged or the stream is low. The school helps alleviate this issue by harvesting spring water on-site, but it's not filtered and they currently have no containers. Gravity Water and Thải Giàng Phố Primary School are working together to bring a Gravity Water system to the school, which will provide them with a free, reliable, and daily source of safe water that is on-site and meets U.S. EPA-rated standards. Every $8 donated provides one child with safe drinking water.
