In 2021, Gravity Water and students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School teamed up to spread awareness of the Global Water Crisis and do something about it. The goal of the campaign is to fund an entire Gravity Water system, bringing an on-site, permanent, and energy-free source of safe drinking water to a school in need.
Help us reach our goal of providing the students and staff of Shree Bagdevi Secondary School in Nepal with an on-site clean water system for daily drinking and hand washing.

Long Beach Polytechnic High School's Clean Water Community Giveaway Campaign
To help spread awareness about the Global Water Crisis and fundraise to build a clean water system at Shree Bagdevi Secondary School in Nepal, Long Beach Polytechnic High School is hosting a Clean Water Community Giveaway campaign. The Clean Water Community Giveaway campaign is centered on a community-based model, where students work with local businesses and artisans to secure donated goods to incentivize donations with the goal of bringing clean water to a community in need.
HOW TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY
Every $8 donated provides a child with access to safe drinking water and equals one entry into the giveaway.

Students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School decided to choose Shree Bagdevi Secondary School, located in Kavrepalanchowk, Nepal, as their benefiting sister school.
Currently, Shree Bagdevi Secondary School lacks access to a reliable on-site source of water. The school currently relies on unfiltered and contaminated surface water. Kavrepalanchowk is one of the last regions to be developed in the Kathmandu Valley, therefore lacking centralized water systems. Shree Bagdevi Secondary School has an abundant source of water during Nepal’s wet season, however, it is still contaminated and causes waterborne illnesses. Gravity Water and Long Beach Polytechnic High School are working together to bring a 9,000 liter Gravity Water system to the school, which will provide them with a free, reliable, and daily source of safe water that is on-site and meets U.S. EPA-rated standards. Every $8 donated provides one child with safe drinking water.
