Scotts Valley High School's Clean Water Impact To Date

2019 Clean Water Campaign
Scotts Valley High School’s 2019 Campaign brought clean drinking water to Ban Pho Elementary School, a school located in Bắc Hà, Lào Cai, Vietnam. Without access to clean water, Ban Pho Elementary School was dependent on surrounding streams and rainwater. Often the school children, and the surrounding community members, struggle to find groundwater due to the jagged terrain of their village.

Through support from the 2019 Scotts Valley High School fundraiser Campaign, Gravity Water worked with Ban Pho Elementary School and the Bắc Hà, Lào Cai Community to install a rainwater harvesting system, which is providing the entire school of 234 students with a daily source of safe drinking water.
