In 2020, Gravity Water and students at University City High School teamed up to spread awareness of the Global Water Crisis and do something about it. The goal of the campaign is to fund an entire Gravity Water system, bringing an on-site, permanent, and energy-free source of safe drinking water to a school in need.

Raffle4Water Campaign
To help spread awareness about the Global Water Crisis and fundraise to build a clean water system at Bản Liền Primary and Secondary School in Vietnam, University City High School's Interact Club is hosting a "Raffle4Water" campaign. The Raffle4Water campaign is centered on a community-based model, where students work with local businesses and artisans to raffle off donated goods with the goal of bringing clean water to a community in need.
HOW TO ENTER THE RAFFLE
Every $8 donated provides a child with access to safe drinking water and equals one entry into the raffle.

Students at University City High School decided to choose Bản Liền Primary and Secondary School, located in the Bắc Hà village of Lào Cai, Vietnam, as their benefiting sister school
Currently, Bản Liền Primary & Secondary School lacks access to a reliable on-site source of water. The school currently uses contaminated surface water as their water source.
Without access to a safe and reliable source of water for both hand-washing and drinking, students at this school are at great risk of contracting and spreading illness, especially COVID-19. Gravity Water and University City High School are working together to bring a Gravity Water system to the school, which will provide the 486 students (286 of which live at the school as boarding students) and staff with a free, reliable, and daily source of safe water that is on-site and meets U.S. EPA-rated standards. In addition, Gravity Water aims at providing a one-year supply of free hand soap for the school to use to help reduce risk of COVID-19. Every $8 donated provides one child with safe drinking water.
