Gravity Water's #Walk4WaterDay, presented by MiiR, is a free, inclusive, and international event, where participants walk, run or hike 6 km (~3.7 miles) to raise awareness about the Global Water Crisis and do something about it.

Gravity Water's 2020 #Walk4WaterDay brought together over 475 participants from 20+ countries around the world. Together, this global community created access to an on-site source of free, safe drinking water for over 2,600 children at schools in Nepal and Vietnam.
All clean water projects are built using Gravity Water's innovative approach that turns rain into safe drinking water on-site, completely electricity- and pump-free. |

EVERY DAY, WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES HAVE TO WALK AN AVERAGE 6 KILOMETERS (~3.7 MILES) TO BRING WATER TO THEIR HOMES.
Access to safe drinking water is one of the greatest challenges faced by humanity. As of 2019, an estimated >2 billion people around the world relied on a contaminated water source.

Registration is FREE and open to everyone, everywhere.

STEP 2: SHARE & RAISE AWARENESS

Sharing your #Walk4WaterDay page with friends and family provides them with the opportunity to support your cause through donating to support your walk for clean water. After registering, you'll receive a unique URL link to your page, which you can share via text message, email, or social media.
We recommend sharing media from the Awareness Media Kit, which you'll also receive after registering or can access through the button below, with your fundraiser page URL to incentivize support. |

Shipping within the U.S.: Raise $25 or more on your #Walk4WaterDay Page to qualify.
International Shipping (outside U.S.): Raise $50 or more on your #Walk4WaterDay Page to qualify.
*Amount must be raised by September 10th to ensure shipping and arrival before September 25th (#Walk4WaterDay)

STEP 4: WALK 6 KM ON SEPTEMBER 25TH

#Walk4WaterDay takes place on Saturday, September 25th. During this day, all participants are asked to walk, run, or hike six kilometers (~3.7 miles) in support of clean water access for all people around the world. During your walk, take a picture and tag @Walk4WaterDay and @GravityWater to be featured on our pages. Want to make your walk even more challenging? Carry one or more gallons (4+ Liters) of water during your entire trip, to gain an understanding of what millions around the world experience every day. |

STEP 6: IMPACT CEREMONY AND RAFFLE
|
Join us on October 1st for a live broadcast highlighting the impact created by #Walk4WaterDay and an overview of how and where the donations will be deployed over the coming months. Also, you won't want to miss the #Walk4WaterDay Raffle, in which all participants of the event will have an equal chance of winning amazing prizes, which compose a total purse of over $3,000 worth of goods from our amazing sponsors (see below).
