Water quality issues after filtration

Have the filters not been replaced for an extended period?

Replace filters.

Were the filters just changed, and did the water quality worsen afterward?

Yes

The filters may have been installed incorrectly, leading to poor treatment.

Does the treated water contain white flakes?

Yes

No

Is the treated water brown or red?

Yes

This could be due to hard water, which the Gravity Water system isn't designed to soften. Installing a water softener is recommended.

Note: Hard water isn't harmful to drink but can affect the water's appearance.

Is the auxiliary water source surface water?

Yes

The water may be contaminated with sediment like clay. Contact the Gravity Water Team for assistance (vietnam@gravitywater.org).

Is the auxiliary water source ground water?

Yes

The water may contain iron or manganese. Contact the Gravity Water Team for assistance (vietnam@gravitywater.org).
